About pagespool

pagespool hosts seven open-source document engines under their own names: Docling, MarkItDown, WeasyPrint, veraPDF, Gotenberg, OCRmyPDF and EPUBCheck. Each engine has its own REST API, MCP server and free tool. One API key and one credit balance pay for all seven, and the free tools work without an account.

The engines

Docling, veraPDF and Gotenberg answer on their own routes, so a client written for the engine works with a new base URL and your API key. MarkItDown, WeasyPrint, OCRmyPDF and EPUBCheck have APIs of their own. Each engine's page lists its prices and limits.

Data

An upload is deleted when its conversion ends. Docling and OCRmyPDF results are deleted 7 days after submission. The servers are at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Details are in the privacy policy.
